Job Title:
Assembler Job Description As an assembler, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality products and services. Your main responsibilities will involve assembling and inspecting products to ensure they meet the highest level of quality. You will also maintain a safe and efficient work area, set up and monitor production, and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, production, and quality. Responsibilities Assemble and inspect products to ensure quality standards are met. Maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Set up and monitor production processes. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for safety, production, and quality. Essential Skills Experience with hand and power tools, particularly for small assembly tasks. Ability to lift 30 pounds on a regular basis. Previous manufacturing experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Demonstrated ability to perform tasks with precision and attention to detail. Strong analytical skills to effectively analyze information and concepts. Ability to collaborate with others while being self-motivated and independent. Excellent observation skills to identify key details and potential issues. Troubleshooting skills to address any challenges that may arise. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Lifting is generally at or below 30 pounds without significant repetition. Expect moderate exposure to machinery, chemicals, biological, and physical risks. Operating a powered industrial truck may be required and is considered industrial to heavy work. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Freeport, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
