Position Summary This position is responsible for all operations related to assembly, testing and packaging of the products. Additional responsibilities include inspection, engineering support, troubleshooting and quality control. Role & Responsibilities Use tools to make or repair parts and products Interpret technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions Work with other members of the line or group in order to assemble products Keep a clean and tidy workspace Meet all safety requirements of the company and industry Identify any defective items and handle them according to established procedures Using reason to solve problems as they arise Understand the details of assembly drawings and bills of materials Use assembly tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches/torque wrenches, etc. Follow order sheets and assembly data sheets Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience Requirements:
2-5 years of assembly or manufacturing experience
Travel Requirements:
No Travel Required Must be able to read and follow written or verbal instructions Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly Must have the ability to work rapidly and under time pressure for extended periods of time in order to meet build requirements Must possess basic machining knowledge and ability to read build sheets and blueprints Job specific skills, techniques and safe work and equipment operating practices are learned through on the job training General Instructions are given on recurring duties, operations or assignments, detailed instructions are given on new duties, operations or assignments. WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed in a shop and warehouse environment. Conditions include proximity to moving mechanical parts, exposure to noise levels requiring the use of hearing protection, exposure to vibration through the use of tools and equipment. Required to wear personal protective equipment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Standing for long hours; mechanical ability; manual dexterity to use hand tools. Ability to move around the facility, climbing stairs as necessary, frequent bending down, reaching up, and sitting or kneeling to work to install parts Ability to handle and lift objects weighing 10-50 lbs. alone; ability to lift objects weighing 50+ lbs. in a two person lift
Salary Range:
$15-17 per hour
