Assembly Technician The Assembler I role involves assembling a variety of subassemblies and finished products within a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for performing functional testing, quality inspections, and ensuring products meet required specifications and delivery timelines. The Assembler I plays a key role in supporting efficient production operations and maintaining quality standards. Essential Functions Follow established safety rules and procedures to maintain a safe work environment. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions to determine proper assembly methods. Assemble a variety of components using hand tools and power tools. Verify dimensions, alignment, and functionality of assembled parts. Perform basic mechanical adjustments and alignments to ensure proper fit and operation. Conduct operational and functional tests according to product checklists. Perform visual inspections to confirm compliance with quality standards. Identify, document, and correct assembly defects or discrepancies. Accurately document assembly processes, test results, and quality issues. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, including adherence to 6S principles. Record daily production data. Assist with training and supporting less experienced team members.
