7:00am- 3:00pm (Monday
- Friday) Join a dynamic team in Lake Beach, IL as an Assembler in the distribution industry, focusing on assembling electronic components with precision and adherence to specifications.
Assembler Responsibilities:
- Assemble electronic components onto printed circuit boards following customer specifications and production drawings
- Read work orders and interpret sample assemblies to ensure accurate assembly
- Select and handle components such as resistors, capacitors, transistors, relays, and integrated circuits
- Use hand tools to twist, trim, strip wire leads, and ream holes to facilitate component installation
- Insert wire and component leads into designated holes, twist, bend, and trim as needed
- Apply plastic insulating sleeves around wire leads and use a heat gun to shrink sleeves securely
- Place and secure color-coded wires in designated holes, clinching wire ends with pliers
- Apply sealers or masking compounds to protect parts of the circuit boards during soldering
- Solder wire leads and joints on the underside of the boards to establish electrical connections Requirements for
Assembler:
- Ability to lift and handle small electronic components and tools for extended periods, approximately 1-2 pounds for continuous tasks
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail
