West Chicago is near Warrenville, about an hour drive from Chicago. In this role, you'll assemble high-precision industrial couplings used in demanding motion control and power transmission applications. You'll play a key role in ensuring products are assembled accurately, inspected thoroughly, and meet strict quality standards. Pay Rates:
7am-3:30pm Monday thru Friday $21.00 - $23.00 per hour, based on experience Weekly Pay! Overtime opportunities may be available Why Join Our Team? Competitive pay based on experience Weekly pay Stable manufacturing environment Work with industry-leading motion control and power transmission products Quality-focused and team-oriented culture Opportunity to develop technical assembly skills Clean and safety-focused workplace Immediate openings available What You'll Do As an Assembly Technician, you'll be responsible for assembling precision industrial coupling products, verifying product quality, operating assembly equipment, and supporting daily production goals while maintaining exceptional workmanship standards.
Responsibilities:
Follow work instructions and assembly procedures to build coupling products accurately and efficiently Install fasteners, inserts, and components using hand and power tools Perform mechanical assembly utilizing hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment Apply product labels neatly and consistently Operate bonding equipment used in the assembly of bellows-style couplings Verify dimensions using calipers, plug gauges, and other measuring instruments Conduct visual and functional inspections to ensure products meet quality requirements Identify and report quality concerns and assist with continuous improvement efforts Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Support production goals while adhering to quality and safety standards
Requirements:
Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand and power tools Experience using calipers, gauges, or other measuring equipment is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality Ability to follow detailed work instructions and procedures Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to meet daily production expectations while maintaining quality standards Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to safely handle heavy or bulky materials when needed Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or 5S principles is a plus
