Summary of Position:

Paddletek began as a small family business inspired by a love of the game and a vision for improving paddle technology. We've since grown into one of the leading names in pickleball, but our mission remains the same: helping you reach the next level of play. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Paddle Assembler. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling paddles according to specific work orders and detailed written or visual instructions. You will ensure each paddle meets Paddletek's quality and performance specifications through precise handling of components and careful execution of each assembly step.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Gather supplies necessary to complete assembly of paddles assigned via work order.
• Identify paddle component parts and assemble according to written/visual work instruction
• Paddle assembly which may include the following steps: Tape balsa to the handle Apply brace to handle Add putty and steel weights to paddle to bring into spec Glue edging to paddle core & apply bundle wrap to allow edging to adhere and dry Remove bundle wrap and inspect edging for loose spots Wipe down the paddle face Clean any dried glue from edging Hot glue end cap to handle Apply grip to handle securing with tape and paddle band • Use hand tools, adhesives, and small machinery to complete builds • Use a tablet to track time spent on each work order • Perform quality checks to ensure consistency and durability
