Job Description

Summary/Objective The Bottom Production Assembler is responsible for assembling steel dumpster bottoms according to work orders and company quality standards. This position operates production equipment, uses basic measuring tools, follows work instructions, and maintains a safe and organized work environment. Position Type, Starting Pay Rate, and Hours
  • Full-time position
  • Starting pay: $19.50 per hour
  • Annual Bonus based on performance
  • Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m
  • 3:30 p.m.
  • 30-minute unpaid lunch
  • Overtime as required Essential Functions
  • Assemble steel dumpster bottoms according to work orders and production requirements.
  • Follow work instructions and established production processes.
  • Operate production equipment safely and correctly.
  • Use measuring tools to ensure products meet quality requirements.
  • Meet production and quality expectations.
  • Identify and report quality, material, or equipment issues to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow company safety procedures.
  • Perform basic equipment adjustments as directed.
  • Perform other production-related duties as assigned. Qualifications and Competencies
  • Ability to safely perform physical production work.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to use a tape measure and basic measuring tools.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Dependable and able to maintain consistent attendance.
  • Ability to learn new processes and equipment.
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Forklift experience preferred. Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry materials weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive physical tasks.
  • Ability to safely perform work in a manufacturing environment.
