decatur, indiana Posted 4 days ago Closes 7/19/2026 Job details Summary Spherion $20.00 - $22.00 per hour Temporary 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Industry manufacturing & production (Production Occupations) Reference number S_177157 We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for putting together components and products according to precise specifications and quality standards. You will play a vital role in ensuring products like machinery, upfitted vehicles, and large structural components are built correctly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Product Assembly:
Assemble components, subassemblies, and finished products using manual and power tools according to specifications.
Blueprint Reading:
Read and interpret instructions, blueprints, schematics, job orders, and equipment manuals to ensure correct assembly.
Quality Control:
Inspect components and finished products for defects or errors, ensuring they meet customer specifications.
Technical Application:
Utilize mechanical skills, including pneumatics, hydraulics, and basic wiring.
Shop Maintenance:
Clean, organize, inventory, stock, and maintain shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow safety protocols and housekeeping standards; comply with established safety policies, including scissor lift and forklift operation.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality assemblies, and perform additional duties as requested. ...
