Full Job Description Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Battery Cell Preparation Technician to assist in preparing nickel metal cells used in the assembly of hybrid batteries. This position involves hands-on work preparing battery cells prior to the welding and assembly process.Responsibilities:
- Prepare nickel metal battery cells for hybrid battery assembly
- Use a Dremel tool to smooth and finish small metal surfaces on battery cells
- Use wire cutters to remove excess metal pieces when needed
- Ensure edges and surfaces are properly smoothed and ready for welding
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow safety procedures and quality standards
Requirements:
- Ability to use hand tools such as a Dremel and cutters
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable working with small metal components
- Ability to work with hands for extended periods
- Prior manufacturing or tool experience is a plus but not required
Schedule & Pay:
- Full-time position
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- $18 per hour
