Full Job Description Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Battery Cell Preparation Technician to assist in preparing nickel metal cells used in the assembly of hybrid batteries. This position involves hands-on work preparing battery cells prior to the welding and assembly process.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare nickel metal battery cells for hybrid battery assembly
  • Use a Dremel tool to smooth and finish small metal surfaces on battery cells
  • Use wire cutters to remove excess metal pieces when needed
  • Ensure edges and surfaces are properly smoothed and ready for welding
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Follow safety procedures and quality standards
Requirements:
  • Ability to use hand tools such as a Dremel and cutters
  • Good attention to detail
  • Comfortable working with small metal components
  • Ability to work with hands for extended periods
  • Prior manufacturing or tool experience is a plus but not required
Schedule & Pay:
  • Full-time position
  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • $18 per hour
Pay:
From $18.00 per hour
