Job Description

Do you have production experience and want to make a difference as part of a dynamic, innovative loudspeaker manufacturing team? SoundTube Entertainment, a respected pro and residential audio company for 50 years, is looking for a skilled and passionate Production Technician to join our team. At Soundtube Entertainment, we specialize in designing and crafting high-quality commercial-grade loudspeakers and "Rock" speakers that blend seamlessly into outdoor environments. Our commitment to quality, innovation, and sound design has made us a leader in the industry. As a Production Technician for SoundTube, you will take part in the production of raw parts, sub-assemblies, and finished speaker systems. Additionally, you will work with a team of creative and skilled professionals to mold, assemble, test, and package loudspeakers, ensuring high-quality performance and sound. Responsibilities (including but not limited to) : Assemble printed circuit boards (PCBs), voice coils, crossovers, and other internal audio components
Resin Casting:
Prepare and cast resin into molds to create rock-like speaker enclosures. Work with both pre-made and custom molds to produce high-quality products.
Mold Preparation and Maintenance:
Ensure molds are properly prepped, cleaned, and maintained for optimal production.
Collaboration:
Work with the design, production, and engineering teams to understand project requirements and ensure all product specifications are met. Assist other departments in special projects as needed.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow safety protocols and industry standards for handling resin materials and operating production equipment.
Additional Responsibilities:
Monitor inventory of materials, unload materials, process returns, and repair faulty products. Additional duties as requested.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs., move materials, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks requiring fine motor skills. Meet daily and weekly production targets while maintaining quality standards Monitor the efficiency of the production line to ensure timely load and shipment Complete quality assurance testing on goods and products Maintain proper storage for material and product inventory in warehouses Move materials or completed products and packages to established locations Utilize (and maintain the quality and upkeep of) warehouse equipment including machinery Perform through-hole and surface-mount soldering with high precision Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions Use hand tools such as precision screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, cutters, and crimpers Perform testing and basic troubleshooting of electronic assemblies
Small-to-Medium Parts Assembly:
Use manual and automated machinery and tools to produce, manufacture, and assemble components, sub-assemblies, and complete systems.
Safety Awareness :
PPE Equipment provided.
Schedule :
Day shift, M-F 8am to 5pm
