Position Summary We're looking for a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to help build and package airoomy products. This role requires excellent fine motor skills, precision, and consistency. You'll be responsible for assembling components, preparing paracord, applying adhesives, performing quality inspections, and packaging finished products for shipment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands and takes pride in producing high-quality work. Responsibilities Assemble airoomy products according to established procedures. Cut, finish, and prepare paracord components. Apply adhesives accurately and consistently. Install hardware and complete final product assembly. Assemble retail and e-commerce product kits. Inspect products throughout the assembly process to ensure they meet quality standards. Package finished products for inventory and shipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace. Track completed production quantities. Report material shortages or quality concerns. Qualifications Exceptional attention to detail. Strong fine motor skills and manual dexterity. Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining consistent quality. Comfortable working with small components, adhesives, and hand tools. Ability to follow detailed assembly instructions. Reliable, dependable, and punctual. Able to work independently while maintaining productivity. Previous manufacturing, assembly, crafting, sewing, jewelry making, model building, fly tying, electronics assembly, or similar hands-on experience is a plus but not required. Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Frequent use of hands and fingers for precise assembly work. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Compensation This is a performance-based position. Compensation is paid per successfully completed airoomy unit rather than by the hour. The per-unit pay rate is competitive and will be discussed during the hiring process. Quality Standards Every airoomy unit undergoes a quality control inspection before it is approved for payment. To qualify for compensation, each product must meet airoomy's assembly and quality specifications. Quality inspections include accurate assembly of all components, proper cutting and finishing of paracord, clean and secure adhesive application, correct hardware installation, professional appearance with no cosmetic defects, and complete kit assembly and packaging.
