Assembler Opportunities Assemblers may be responsible for learning and performing various assembly functions in the production of truck body components.
Duties may include:
Using hand tools and power tools such as grinders, drills, screw guns, rivet guns, saws, and other shop tools Assembling components according to work instructions, standard operating procedures, drawings, and production paperwork Measuring, positioning, fitting, drilling, fastening, and inspecting materials and components Reading basic work instructions, build orders, and measurements Working safely while maintaining quality and efficiency Assisting with sealing, wiring, foam insulation, or other production-related tasks as needed Performing other duties as assigned Welder Opportunities Welders may be responsible for welding, fitting, and assembling components based on skill level and department needs.
Duties may include:
Using welding equipment, torches, grinders, drills, saws, hand tools, and related equipment Performing various types of welding, which may include MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding Welding aluminum, galvanized steel, carbon steel, and stainless steel Reading and using engineered drawings, work instructions, standard operating procedures, and plant paperwork Measuring, positioning, fitting, and inspecting components for accuracy and quality Operating equipment such as fume extractors, overhead cranes, drill presses, saws, and other basic shop machinery Working safely and reporting unsafe conditions Performing other duties as assigned Qualifications Previous manufacturing, assembly, or fabrication experience preferred Welding experience is required for candidates interested in welder opportunities Ability to accurately read a tape measure or willingness to learn Ability to use basic math, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing measurements Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions Experience using hand tools, power tools, or shop equipment preferred Strong attendance and reliability Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Willingness to follow all company safety policies and procedures This is a general interest posting.
