Assembler - Plastic Conveyor Belting - Hammond Location Hammond, LA Job Category Manufacturing & Production Division Intralox An Assembler manually builds Intralox conveyor belts according to customer orders in a fast-paced, teamwork focused environment. This is a full-time position in an air-conditioned, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. It is essential that this position be performed at the facility. If selected, you will be required to successfully pass drug/background/physical.

Responsibilities:

Assemble plastic modules into conveyor belts according to customer orders Follow all safety procedures and policies Meet the minimum productivity requirement for the work lane Perform housekeeping duties as required Ability and willingness to work overtime and on weekends as required Follow the attendance policy of the Assembly department Exhibit teamwork and self-management practices.

Requirements:

A high school diploma or GED preferred Stable work history Good hand/eye coordination and detail oriented Basic math and communication skills Ability to perform the essential functions of this position as detailed in the functional job description, including the requirement to lift and carry 35 pounds Ability to stand for extended periods of time It is essential that this position be performed at the facility
