Job Description
Production Team Lead | Lexington, SC | 1st shift Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Production Team Lead to oversee daily assembly line operations, lead production employees, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met. This hands-on leadership role requires coordinating work assignments, supporting line setup and production flow, troubleshooting issues, and training team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and support production employees in assembly and manufacturing operations. Organize daily work assignments and maintain efficient workflow. Perform hands-on production work and assist with line setup and startup activities. Ensure adherence to quality standards, including first-piece inspections and master sample verification. Monitor safety practices, housekeeping, and compliance with company procedures. Accurately complete production documentation, work orders, and Epicor transactions. Coordinate with other departments to resolve production, material, quality, or equipment issues. Train and mentor new and less experienced operators. Communicate production, staffing, quality, and safety concerns to management. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of manufacturing or plant experience . Minimum 2 years of team lead or supervisory experience in a production environment. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience with assembly operations, quality checks, and production documentation. Familiarity with Epicor or similar production software preferred. Ability to safely use hand and power tools. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. High School Diploma or GED preferred. Why Join Us? Work Environment Manufacturing/plant setting with a structured schedule supporting production operations from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Position requires standing for extended periods, working with hand and power tools, and lifting up to 50 lbs. in a safe, organized production environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Lexington, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
