Job Title:
Assembler / Molder Job Description This role combines hands-on assembly and molding work in a fast-paced production environment. You will assemble battery components using hand and power tools, operate molding machines and ovens, and help create high-quality products from plastics and other materials. The position offers structured growth across three levels, consistent day shifts, and the opportunity to develop strong mechanical and production skills. Responsibilities Use hand and power tools to assemble metal shells inside plastic components after they are produced. Run and route cables to assemble them into mold castings for batteries, including banding cables and working with large cable assemblies. Operate crimping tools and insert connectors into components while they are hot out of the oven, following safety and quality guidelines. Operate molding machines and ovens to mold, form, cast, shape, or carve products from one or multiple materials. Produce molded products such as tiles, pipes, candles, figurines, and other items according to specifications and production schedules. Monitor molding and assembly processes to ensure parts meet quality standards and production targets. Set up, load, and unload materials from molding machines and assembly stations as needed. Maintain an organized work area, including molding machines and tool tables, to support efficient assembly and molding operations. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and keep up with production requirements throughout the shift. Follow all safety procedures while working with machines, ovens, tools, and hot components. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and support continuous improvement. Stand for extended periods during the shift while performing assembly, molding, and general production tasks. Essential Skills Mechanical aptitude and the ability to work confidently with hand and power tools. Experience or strong interest in assembly, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment. Ability to operate or learn to operate molding machines, ovens, and related production equipment. Comfort working with hot components, including inserting connectors that are hot out of the oven. Capability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment. General production or machine operating experience, including exposure to injection molding or similar processes. Ability to keep up with production demands while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Willingness to work scheduled shifts:
Assembler shift from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday; Molder Operator shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Ability to work effectively as part of an organized team in a structured work setting. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with molding, tooling, and injection molding processes. Experience in general labor, general production, or machine operator assembly roles. Familiarity with plastic molding and automation environments. Comfort working with large cable assemblies, banding cables, and crimping tools. Ability to communicate effectively in English or Spanish. Shifts are consistent daytime hours:
Assembler roles typically run from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and Molder Operator roles from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, providing a predictable schedule in a structured manufacturing environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fall River, MA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
