Middle River Aerostructure Systems seeks an Aviation Assembler to build advanced nacelle and aerostructure components for commercial and military aircraft. In this safety-first, quality-driven role, you will interpret blueprints and work instructions, assemble metal and composite parts, perform drilling, fastening, sealing, and inspections, and document work to aerospace standards. You'll collaborate closely with engineering and quality teams, support lean and continuous improvement initiatives, and help deliver reliable, high-performance solutions for major global aircraft programs. Responsibilities Assemble nacelle and aerostructure components to specification using aerospace-grade tools, fixtures, and equipment Read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and engineering schematics to perform precise assembly tasks Perform drilling, fastening, sealing, and bonding of metal and composite parts following strict aerospace standards Inspect work in-process and at completion, using measurement tools to verify tolerances and quality requirements Document work performed in production systems and maintain accurate records for traceability and compliance Follow all safety, EHS, and quality procedures in a regulated aerospace manufacturing environment Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve issues and improve assembly processes Support 5 S, continuous improvement, and lean manufacturing initiatives on the production floor Required Skills Aerospace assembly Blueprint and schematic reading Use of hand and power tools Composite materials handling Precision drilling and fastening Torque and measurement tools Quality inspection and gauging Sealant and bonding application Lean manufacturing / 5 SESD and FOD control
