//www.northamcon.com. Position Summary We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team in Alpena, MI. This position is ideal for individuals with mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic who are eager to contribute to the production of high-quality conveyor systems. Key Responsibilities Assemble mechanical components of conveyor systems using hand and power tools. Perform basic DC wiring tasks as part of the assembly process. Build pallets and prepare products for shipment. Operate forklifts for loading and unloading trucks. Follow detailed work instructions and safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Skills Needed Proficiency with basic hand tools (e.g., cordless drill, impact wrench). Ability to read and follow assembly instructions. Basic understanding of mechanical systems. Forklift operation skills (training provided if needed). Strong attention to detail and quality. Knowledge Required Basic mechanical assembly principles. Fundamentals of DC electrical wiring. Safe handling and operation of tools and equipment. Workplace safety and organization standards. Ability to Implement Apply mechanical and electrical knowledge to assemble conveyor systems accurately. Safely operate forklifts and other equipment to support production and logistics. Work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals. Adapt quickly to new tasks and procedures with minimal supervision.
