ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Read and interpret assembly prints and bills of material. Gathers and positions materials and parts according to Assembly documentation or verbal instruction. Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners. Uses and operates various pneumatic, electrical, and manual hand tools. Reports any issues with product or equipment to department lead. What you need to be successful: Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to read and execute instructions as found on blueprints. Ability to perform basic math and ability to read a tape measure down to a 1/16th . Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. without assistance. Ability to work with arms above head. Ability to work from ladders. Ability to safely use hand, air, pneumatic, and power tools, and machinery. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
