Manufacturing Assembler (135048)

Talascend is currently seeking a Manufacturing Assembler for a contract opportunity with our client in Dearborn, Michigan. Overview The Manufacturing Assembler role involves assisting in assembly processes and learning from experienced team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position requires working on vehicle and component assembly, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Responsibilities Assist a senior assembler with assembling products and sub-components to support vehicle production and other products. Support vehicle and material movement in and around the facility. Follow electronic build book for assembly instructions. Clean and prepare components and vehicles for production. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Follow established safety procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 6+ months of experience required. Preferred Qualifications High school automotive shop class(es). Experience performing personal vehicle maintenance. Proficient with computer usage. Ability to learn and follow written instructions. Ability to perform fine hand manipulation. Knowledge of tools and their use. Knowledge of tire/oil change (previous experience considered a plus). Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
