Job Description

Position Summary The General Assembler is responsible for assembling, inspecting, packaging, and preparing fastener products and assemblies according to production and quality requirements. This position works in a manufacturing environment and supports production goals while maintaining safety and quality standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assemble fasteners, bolt-and-washer assemblies, and related components according to work instructions. Operate basic assembly equipment and hand tools. Perform visual and dimensional inspections of finished products. Sort, count, label, and package parts for shipment. Maintain production records and complete required documentation. Identify and report defective materials, equipment issues, or quality concerns. Follow all company safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE). Keep work areas clean and organized. Support team production goals and continuous improvement efforts. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred but often not required. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Basic math and counting skills. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Must be able to pass a drug screen Physical Requirements Stand for extended periods. Lift and move materials up to 25-50 pounds. Frequent use of hands for handling small parts.
