Truck Fabricator Technician Reports to: Fabricator Team Leader /
Director of Operations Department:
Operations Job Summary:
Responsible for custom fabrication of customer's trucks.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None Duties/Responsibilities:
Support daily functions including, but not limited to: Support all daily functions of the shop Fabricate, modify, and install truck bodies and equipment to chassis Utilize tools such as: Torches Plasma cutters Shears Punch presses Drill press Metal cutting saws Fabricate parts as needed Weld ferrous and nonferrous metals using MIG or Arc (electrode) techniques Other duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization
Required Skills/Abilities:
General comprehension of, and experience in, the truck build up process General understanding of truck components Experience with Welding/Fabrication Ability to work alone with minimal or no supervision Working knowledge of basic office software (such as Microsoft Office) Working knowledge of company software and procedures Great attitude and ability to work with others Good communication skills, written and verbal Attention to detail and good organizational skills
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent Current regular driver's license to move our vehicles Forklift operator certification Overhead crane operator certification Physical Requirements (representative but not exhaustive): Sitting, crouching, kneeling Manual finger dexterity Heavy lifting; 30 pounds or more Twisting, bending, reaching, and stretching Long periods of standing Exposure to shop noise and dust Exposure to moving mechanical parts and vehicles Exposure to hot and cold temperatures Ability to work 45.7 hours weekly with some Saturdays as needed

Innovation Requirements:
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen (including THC/marijuana), physical, and background check. Must have a valid drivers license to move our vehicles. Must be able to work from 6am-3:30pm Monday through Friday and Saturdays as needed.
