Job Description

A welder/fabricator candidate should be proficient in: Understanding and utilization of proper welding processes and procedures Understand how to use common power and pneumatic tools Ability to follow prints and use of tape measure Attention to detail when working on and around finished surfaces Diagnose and repair trailers, including preventative maintenance, repair to air brakes, ABS and suspension systems, trailer body and electrical repair Ability to learn Haz-mat equipment and perform inspections on Haz-mat vehicles with safety as the top priority Perform routine preventative maintenance on tractor/trailer equipment Pass DOT physical and drug screen Possess a valid Michigan driver's license Ability to layout and weld assemblies, such as cabinets, frames and suspension assemblies On the job training will be provided to achieve certified welder status with ASME If this sounds like your next career home, please apply today.
