Machine Builder / Assembly Technician Miller Technical Services (MTS) - 1.0 Plymouth, MI Job Details Full-time $18 - $25 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Mechanical blueprint interpretation Electro-mechanical components Electrical schematic reading and interpretation Assembly wiring English Inspection reporting and documentation Quality control documentation Attention to detail Blueprint dimension interpretation Electrical layout diagram interpretation Manual handling Manufacturing Precision assembly Critical thinking Full Job Description MTS is a contract manufacturer of medical devices and is seeking a Machine Builder / Assembly Technician to assemble and test sophisticated medical devices; including electrical panel build, pneumatic assembly, water circuits and mechanical assembly. This person will also be required to use critical thinking skills during in process inspections and recording required data during the assembly and in process inspection process. Work shift is Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm Must have strong electro/mechanical assembly skills and experiences. Must have experience in manual assembly operations, such as use of torque wrenches, wire cripping and soldering. Must have the ability read blueprints and electrical schematics. Comply with policies guidelines and regulatory requirements. Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, or materials to supervisor. Ability to understand and follow standard operating procedures. High attention to detail. Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English. Ability to complete records accurately in English. Ability to work safely around chemicals and equipment Ability to lift 30 pounds.
