Job Description
The company is working with customers to build, create and up fit vehicles to the customer's specifications.
What you will do:
While working within a team environment, use hand held power tools, which include band saws and drills to assemble a product or a component of the product. Must be able to use own mechanics tools. Remove parts from production panels for re-installation after paint. Ensure parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product. Select and/or modify components according to measurements and specifications. Read and follow instructions and procedures. Align material and parts to build more complex units Operate cranes, chain falls, and devices to aid in alignment of large parts/assemblies. Remove and align panels/assemblies using tools and gauges. Final assemble/install finished parts back to aligned status using aforementioned equipment. Re-install parts onto finished panels. Perform other tasks as assigned. A High School or GED equivalent required. Previous experience (at least 1 year) with experience of assembling vehicles. Attention to detail with the ability to review data to the customer requirements. Ability to read blueprints, drawings, etc. Ability to be cross-trained on various part of the assembly process within the department.
