Assembly Associate Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Associate to join our team in a dynamic warehouse environment. You will play a vital role in building machines that distribute liquid adhesives across various industries, including automotive, agriculture, and food/beverage. Our facility is home to 45 employees, and we are currently looking for material pickers to support our operations. Responsibilities Assemble dispensing equipment with precision and attention to detail. Read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams effectively. Operate and maintain equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Utilize hand and measuring tools, gauges, test equipment, power lift equipment, and potentially operate tow motors. Prepare, label, move, and track parts efficiently. Conduct inspections and quality tracking with accurate reporting. Adhere to all safety and housekeeping procedures consistently. Ensure conformance to production and administrative procedures. Enhance existing processes for improved efficiency. Communicate effectively with team leaders and collaborate well in a team environment. Essential Skills Proven wrench experience. Competency in using computers for various tasks. 3-5 years of assembly experience, preferably in the automotive industry. Ability to read and follow blueprints and work instructions. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working with valves or wiring is a plus. Why Work Here? The assembly takes place in the center, while warehouse activities occur in the back. Shift hours are 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with availability for Saturdays, averaging 40 hours per week. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wixom, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
