Job Title:
Assembly Line Production Associate Job Description Join a clean, modern production facility where you work on an assembly line building glass panel doors with integrated blinds for residential use. In this role, you rotate through multiple stations throughout the day, use hand and power tools, and contribute to the safe and efficient production of high-quality door systems. The position offers weekday daytime hours and hands-on training for candidates who are eager to learn. Essential Skills At least 1 year of manufacturing experience in a production or general labor environment. Ability to work on a fast-paced assembly line and rotate between different stations throughout the shift. Comfort using hand tools and power tools in a safe and controlled manner. Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent twisting, pushing, and light lifting throughout the day. Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to understand how components fit and function together. Strong attention to detail when aligning, sealing, cleaning, and testing glass panels and blinds. Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a supportive team environment. Reliability and readiness to learn new tasks and follow instructions from trainers and supervisors. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions while maintaining quality and safety standards. Shift 1st - 6:15am-2:45pm Work Environment The role is based in a large, clean manufacturing facility focused on the production of glass panel doors with integrated blinds. Work is performed on an assembly line, involving frequent rotation between stations, standing for most of the shift, and repetitive motions such as lifting, twisting, and pushing glass panels along the conveyor. Some stations require wearing a hair net and using suction cups, hand tools, and power tools. The work is described as not heavy or difficult, though it does involve handling glass panels that can weigh up to about 20 pounds after processing. The environment emphasizes cleanliness, safety, and teamwork, with training provided to ensure comfort with each station's tasks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Zeeland, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
