Chandler operates five divisions, including four in Minnesota—Blaine, Long Prairie, Montevideo, and Wyoming—and one in Chihuahua, Mexico. We're looking for detail-oriented Assembler to join our team in Blaine. In this role, you'll be responsible for assembling both sub-components and final products, working with a variety of tools, equipment, and processes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Available Shifts:
First shift (Monday through Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM) Second shift (Monday through Thursday 3:15 PM to 1:45 AM) (10% shift differential).
Requirements:
What You'll Do:
Assemble a variety of components and sub-assemblies to meet specifications. Perform mechanical, electrical, and final assembly operations. Perform riveting operators to assemble components according to specifications and quality standards. Operate insertion and grill press equipment to install hardware components accurately and efficiently per specifications. Work from blueprints, drawings, and work instructions. Use hand tools, power tools, and fixtures to complete assemblies. Ensure quality and accuracy of your work throughout the process. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S standards). Follow all safety guidelines including PPE and OSHA requirements. Support continuous improvement and Lean initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings. Basic math skills, including measurements and unit conversions. Experience using hand tools such as drills, torque wrenches, calipers, and screwdrivers. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Comfortable working in an industrial environment (noise, tools, solvents, etc.)
Additional Details:
Exposure to sealants, solvents and typical manufacturing conditions. Experience working in the Aerospace, Medical or other highly regulated industry. Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. Person status required). Compensation is determined based on a variety of factors related to the specific position. These may include skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. While the full range is shared for transparency, offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range.
