Assembly Technician Burnsville, MN Pay Rate:
$19.00- $23.
Experience Shift:
6 AM- 2:30 PM | M-F Parts, Pieces, Paychecks —Time to Assemble Your Future.
Success With:
Associate or Technical degree or equivalent work experience preferred Demonstrate ability to communicate skills with co-workers and leadership Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Minimum 5 years of experience required in electronic manufacturing, preferred Experience with ISO, AS, QS/TS, and 6 Sigma preferred Demonstrated ability to detail and quality-minded work habits Experience in an electronic assembly environment, understand and demonstrate the ability to solder/touch up SMT, through-hole, and cable assembly using manual soldering and de-soldering equipment. Must have in-depth knowledge of component marking and identification, and a level understanding of the use of production tools and machinery. Completion of a Visual Acuity Test and Color Blindness according to theVisual Acuity Testing Policy What You'll Be Hands-On With:
Follow specifications, assembly documentation, and process instructions in the assembly of the product. Works independently and completes basic rework/repair requirements Participates in quality control inspection when required Facilitate others' progress and assist with training as needed Perform assembly tasks such as: wiring, sanding, epoxy bonding, curing, screwing, press fitting, bolting, soldering, trace cutting, de-paneling, cleaning, washing, tapping, labeling, touch up of components when required. Install electronic components on boards and prepare boards to be soldered Examine components already installed to verify the accuracy of items such as Polarity, value, and positioning according to specifications. Ability to identify component damage and solder joint quality per IPC610 standards Operate equipment and tools relative to accomplishing rework/repair of electronic components and assemblies. Replacement of multi-leaded through-hole and surface mount components using approved removal tools.Performing advanced and complex assemblies:
solder balls attachment, Flip chips, BGA, and socket Connect and solder lead wires to the printed circuit or routes and connect wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points.What You'll Score:
