Flowcell Assembler Location:
Chaska, MN (Paid Training in Miami, FL)

$24-$28 per hour, based on experience About the Role We are hiring an Assembly Technician to play a critical role in the build and testing of high‑performance diagnostic instruments used in patient care around the world. This position is ideal for an experienced technician who enjoys precision work, complex mechanical assembly, and contributing to products that directly impact patient outcomes. You will work in a regulated manufacturing environment, assembling and testing advanced modules, often using microscopes and fine components. This role also offers growth opportunities through technical leadership and mentorship as the production team expands. Training & Location The position begins with paid training in Miami, FL , consisting of two‑week sessions each month from your start date through early September. Following training, you will transition to Chaska, MN , where you will support production launch activities, knowledge transfer, and on‑the‑job training for new team members. A collaborative mindset and willingness to mentor others are essential. Key Responsibilities Perform complex mechanical assembly and module‑level testing using SOPs, engineering drawings, and digital work instructions Accurately complete work orders to meet quality, safety, and delivery objectives Troubleshoot assembly and process issues in partnership with Engineering and Quality teams Maintain detailed documentation, training records, and full production traceability Support a clean, safe, and well‑organized manufacturing environment Train, coach, and mentor technicians as the organization scales Qualifications 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production technician roles Experience in regulated environments strongly preferred (medical device, FDA, ISO) Proven attention to detail with strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented production setting Experience with microscope‑based or precision assembly is a plus Work Environment & Travel Clean, climate‑controlled manufacturing facility Dedicated workstation and tooling Rotational travel to Miami during training; all travel expenses fully covered Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Chanhassen, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $58240.00/yr. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
