Job Description

Summary Participates in the production and assembly of systems by utilizing existing mechanical skills, as well as applying new industry specific skills that will be taught on the job.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Read and interpret engineering drawings or blueprints to determine required materials and assembly steps. Measure materials accurately to 1/16th of an inch using a tape measure. Use basic hand and power tools to bolt, screw, glue, or otherwise fasten parts. Fabricate and assemble components according to specifications or verbal instructions. Operate production machinery as required for assembly tasks. Test and verify fitment of parts before final assembly or modification. Measure, cut, and fasten plumbing materials such as PVC, stainless steel, copper, or galvanized pipe. Secure custom production materials onto fabricated frames. Perform functional testing on completed equipment to ensure proper operation.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred. 1-3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to accurately measure to 1/16th of an inch using a tape measure. Proficiency with basic hand tools and power tools. Ability to read and understand instructions, technical drawings, and simple correspondence. Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
