About the Role We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our production team. In this role, you will transform raw materials into high-quality components by leveraging your expertise in welding, blueprint interpretation, and precision assembly to drive operational excellence. Responsibilities Execute complex welding setups and fabrication tasks by interpreting detailed engineering prints and technical specifications. Assemble metal components with high precision to ensure structural integrity and project efficiency. Conduct rigorous quality inspections on finished parts, performing necessary adjustments to meet exact design tolerances. Utilize a variety of industrial equipment including press brakes, band saws, grinders, and plasma cutters to shape materials. Operate forklifts safely to manage material handling and optimize workflow within the shop floor. Maintain accurate measurements using calipers, tape measures, and other precision tools to ensure consistency in decimal and fractional dimensions. Collaborate with team members to solve technical challenges and improve overall production output. Demonstrate professional accountability by taking ownership of project timelines and quality standards. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience in a professional welding or metal fabrication environment. Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting complex blueprints and technical drawings. Demonstrated ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers and tape measures with high accuracy. Physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform manual labor in demanding positions for extended durations. Preferred Skills Prior experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing setting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement. Basic computer literacy for digital documentation and job tracking. Excellent verbal communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
