As a Manufacturing Assembler in our modern Hugo facility, you'll work in a dynamic production environment building walls, floors, trusses, and stairs using a variety of tools and equipment. You'll collaborate closely with a skilled team of 3-4 members to meet daily production goals while upholding strict safety and quality standards. This is an opportunity to strengthen your construction and manufacturing skillset while working in a reliable, year-round position with significant overtime earning potential. What You'll Do Accurately read and interpret tape measures down to 1/8 inch Work confidently with hand and power tools such as nail guns and table saws Contribute in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment Occasionally lift materials up to 75 lbs Commit to 50-hour workweeks with consistent overtime Bring basic hand tools on day one (or obtain them through our company-supported program) What You Bring Ability to read a tape measure to 1/8 inch Experience using hand and power tools Comfort working in a high-production environment Capacity to lift 75 lbs as needed Willingness to work 50 hours per week Preferred Experience Experience in framing or construction Familiarity with nail guns and table saws Blueprint reading experience Why You'll Love Working Here For more than 40 years, we've built our reputation on uncompromising quality and a commitment to our people. Work Environment This role is based in a clean, spacious, and well-lit manufacturing shop where prefabricated trusses and wall panels are produced for field construction teams. The facility is temperature-controlled and highly safety conscious, with established safety programs and protocols that guide daily operations. Assemblers work in teams of 3-4 people in designated areas, and the work may take place in multiple buildings depending on the specific product line. The position involves standing and moving throughout the shift, working with hand and power tools, nail guns, saws, and other shop equipment. Typical schedules are first shift, Monday through Friday, with hours approximately 5:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. or 6:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., supporting a 50-hour workweek. Team members are expected to bring or obtain basic tools such as a tool belt, a 25-foot tape measure, and a utility knife. The environment is organized, production-focused, and designed to support both safety and efficiency, with a virtual tour available during the hiring process to provide a clear preview of the shop and role. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hugo, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
