Assembly Worker - $18/hr

W Service Drive NE, Blaine, MN Schedule:
Monday-Friday | On‑Site | Contract‑to‑Hire (4 months) About the Role Join a hands‑on, team‑oriented manufacturing environment where you'll help build rotary and flat dies —tools used by major corrugating companies to cut cardboard. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys assembly work , using hand and power tools , and working in a collaborative shop setting. You'll work as a Flat Finisher , placing foam around die blades using industrial glue, supporting team lifts, and helping move dies through the production process. What You'll Do Assemble and finish rotary/flat dies following written and visual instructions. Use hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools safely and effectively. Perform team lifts and move dies weighing 50-80 lbs . Apply foam around blades using industrial glue. Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow safety guidelines. Support general shop tasks as needed. What You Need Ability to lift 50-80 lbs regularly. Good hand dexterity and comfort using tools. Ability to follow written and visual instructions. Willingness to learn and work well with a team. HS Diploma/GED preferred. Experience in construction, woodworking, or assembly is a plus. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Blaine, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
