Responsibilities Assemble various elevator parts according to prints and work order instructions. Strap down assembled parts for shipping. Follow established company and departmental precautions and procedures in the performance of all job duties to ensure a safe work environment for self and others. Close work orders and print labels associated with the parts. Execute additional tasks as needed Physical Requirements This position requires frequent standing and walking for up to eight hours per day. Employees regularly use their hands to handle tools, equipment, and materials and frequently reach with their hands and arms. Stooping, kneeling, crouching, and bending are common job functions. Employees must frequently lift and carry to 50 pounds and frequent pushing and pulling are required, with occasional forces up to 70 pounds. Employees are regularly exposed to elevated noise levels typical of a metal manufacturing environment and the operation of large industrial equipment. The work environment occasionally includes exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and electrical hazards and employees are exposed to climates that reflect moderate seasonal changes.
