Job Description

Job Summary:
The purpose of this position is to assemble components according to detailed instructions and quality standards. Key responsibilities include reading blueprints and schematics, operating tools and machinery, inspecting quality, and maintaining a safe and organized work area. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assemble electrical or electronic systems or support structures and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, soldering, micro welding, or sonic welding.
  • Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, schematics, specifications, work orders, or reports
  • Clean parts thoroughly
  • Review work activities with Lead or manager
  • Inspect wiring installations, assemblies, and circuits
  • Pack finished products for shipment
  • Tag components
  • Adjust or repair electronic equipment
  • Correct defects
  • Test product to ensure conformance to specifications
  • Populate or modify/replace components on printed circuit board assemblies
  • Test functional performance
  • Other duties as assigned by lead or manager

  • High school diploma or equivalency and/or 2+ years of experience in a production-related industry preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Technical aptitude and experience with tools and machinery
Pay:
$19.91 - $26.57 per hour
