Hands-On Work Environment:
Spend your day working with tools, mechanical components, and assemblies rather than sitting behind a desk.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Build custom and standard wood crates, boxes, skids, and pallets to specified dimensions Read and interpret drawings, packing lists, and job instructions Measure, cut, assemble, and fasten lumber and plywood using hand and power tools Perform assembly of new products including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems. Perform QC inspections and function tests on new machine assemblies, rental equipment, and repair of contract equipment identifying hazards, defects, and the need for adjustments or repair, ensuring safe and proper operation.
