Job Title:
Assembler Job Description The Assembler builds small subassemblies and complete units by working with fabricated parts and following blueprints and instructions. This role uses hand tools and small power tools to fasten and secure components, while also supporting basic shipping activities as needed. Responsibilities Assemble fabricated parts into small subassemblies and complete units according to blueprints and work instructions. Fasten parts together using bolts, screws, clips, rivets, and other appropriate fasteners. Use hand tools and small power tools safely and accurately to complete assembly tasks. Verify that assemblies meet specified standards for quality and completeness. Follow directions from supervisors and leads to prioritize and complete daily work. Support shipping activities, including preparing products for shipment. Shrink wrap products and pallets to secure items for transport. Operate a pallet jack to move materials and finished goods within the facility. Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety guidelines. Essential Skills Previous experience operating hand tools in a production or assembly environment. Ability to work from blueprints and follow written and verbal instructions. Proficiency in using basic hand tools and small power tools safely. Ability to assemble components with attention to detail and quality. Capability to take direction and adapt to changing priorities. Basic understanding of mechanical assembly processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working in an assembly or manufacturing setting. Familiarity with reading and interpreting simple technical drawings or diagrams. Experience with shrink wrapping and basic shipping preparation. Ability to operate a pallet jack or similar material-handling equipment. Strong work ethic and reliability in meeting schedules and deadlines. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in a manufacturing and distribution environment focused on industrial products for the agricultural sector. You will work around assembly stations using hand tools, small power tools, fasteners, and pallet jacks. The position involves standing for extended periods, handling parts and materials, and working near packaging and shrink-wrapping equipment. Standard production hours apply, with work paced to meet shipping and production schedules. Appropriate work attire that is suitable for a shop or manufacturing floor is required, along with adherence to all safety procedures and use of any required protective equipment. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Sauk Rapids, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $17.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
