In this role, your mission will be to: Assemble Demolition Attachments Assemble hydraulic demolition shears and related components according to engineering drawings, work instructions, quality standards, and production schedules.
Install hydraulic, mechanical, and structural components using hand tools, power tools, torque equipment, lift-assist devices, and assembly fixtures.
Work with large fabricated steel structures and heavy attachment components while utilizing overhead cranes, hoists, and material-handling equipment. Verify proper fit, alignment, torque specifications, and functionality of assembled products. Assist with testing, troubleshooting, and final inspection activities to ensure quality and performance requirements are achieved.
Complete assembly operations while maintaining established safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude when diagnosing assembly issues and interpreting drawings.
Support Lean Manufacturing Operations
Follow standardized work instructions and participate in continuous improvement activities. Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, and workflow efficiency. Support 5S initiatives and maintain an organized, clean, and efficient work area.
Assist with material staging, kitting, and inventory accuracy to support production flow.
Participate in daily team meetings and contribute to problem-solving activities.
Quality & Safety Responsibilities Experience and requirements: We're looking for someone who is: Mechanically inclined and interested in building large industrial equipment and attachments.
Experienced in manufacturing, mechanical assembly, fabrication, maintenance, or related industrial work.
Able to read and follow work instructions, assembly drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Familiar with hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and assembly equipment.
Detail-oriented and committed to producing high-quality work.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, lean manufacturing environment. We are willing to train motivated individuals who demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, a positive attitude, a commitment to safety, and a willingness to learn.
