Job Description

The Precision Assembler J accurately assembles intricate components and product while adhering to quality standards and meeting production targets.
Are You Looking To:
  • Primary responsibility is to assemble intricate precise components or products according to engineering specifications and quality standards.
  • Performs precision assembling, aligning, or adjusting within very tight tolerances.
  • Follows schematics and specification documents to complete measuring, fitting, wiring, circuit boards and soldering of components to assemble units.
  • Uses standard hand and power tools, and precision measuring tools such as micrometers, and dial calipers.
  • Perform inspection of parts. Record and interpret data for process control charts as required.
  • Will perform set-ups, adjustments, and maintenance of machines and/or equipment.
  • Attention to details and expertise in precision assembly techniques will ensure the production of high-quality products.
  • Observe established safe working and housekeeping procedures. Promptly correct and/or notify Manager of hazardous situations.
  • Participate in and take proactive roles in ISO, AS9100, and Lean Manufacturing methodologies for problem prevention, corrective action, identification and solution verification.
  • Assume other projects and responsibilities from time to time as directed.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is presumed to be an essential function of all employment.
  • Reports to Production Supervisor. Has contact with internal and external customers and co-workers.
  • Operates a variety of equipment to assemble products.
Produces products to conform to engineering drawings, assembly documentation, and quality required. Performs set-ups/adjustments.
What You'll Need:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be J standard certified (Solder).
  • Previous manufacturing experience or specialized training preferred.
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Compensation range of $20.40-23.90 hourly. The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors Participation in the annual bonus program. 401(k) with company match.
