Job Description

Logboat Brewing - Packaging Technician Full-Time - Salaried (Salary TBD based on experience) Overview We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and mechanically inclined Packaging Technician to join our team at Logboat Brewing Company. Reporting to the Packaging Team Lead and Production Manager, you will be responsible for packaging beer to the highest quality standards, supporting brewery operations, and maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and safety practices. Key Qualities Team-first attitude with the ability to work independently when needed Strong mechanical skills and ability to operate packaging machinery, forklifts, and hand tools Excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, changing environment Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly and bend, twist, and stoop during a 10-hour shift Interest in craft beer and enthusiasm for contributing to the brewing process Honesty, reliability, and a positive attitude Primary Responsibilities Operate and maintain canning line and related packaging equipment Build and palletize cases of beer from the packaging line Clean, sort, and organize keg shells; fill kegs as needed Fabricate and assemble packaging materials as required Inspect packaged products to ensure quality and regulatory compliance (including CGMP standards) Maintain packaging area cleanliness to meet safety and sanitation standards Assist with shipping, receiving, and warehouse organization Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment Perform routine inspections and basic troubleshooting of machinery Preferred Experience Previous experience in a brewery, warehouse, or manufacturing environment Familiarity with FDA regulations and CGMP practices Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues Forklift certification or prior operating experience Schedule & Benefits Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime Health & dental insurance after 30 days of full-time employment
