Job Description
1st shift. Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm. Since its inception in 1993, Consolidated Machine & Welding (CM&W) has become a local leader in metal fabrication and machine shop services. We have grown steadily by providing quality craftsmanship and quick turnaround for countless items ranging from ancillary products needed by various manufacturers to short runs and one-offs requested by other facilities. To learn more, visit us at www.cmandw.com. Consolidated Machine & Welding (CM&W) is looking for first-shift Assembly Technicians at our Hannibal, MO location. You'll assemble small parts as well as larger and more complex assemblies and sub-assemblies in an efficient manner. Assembly can include installing and tightening fasteners, connecting wires, and other duties. Pay starting at $18.03 per hour.
What You'll Do:
Assemble manufactured parts according to blueprints. Identify correct hardware needed for assembly. Identify and use proper tools for assembling parts. You'll use tools such as pneumatic tools, reamer, drill, ratchet and sockets, impact wrench, and pallet jack to accomplish assembly tasks.What You'll Need:
High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum one year of similar experience. Ability to use tools for assembly. Ability to read blueprints, as well as read and follow directions/instructions. Ability to read a tape measure. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communications skills. Good organization skills. Safety mindset. Ability to work with a team.
