Job Description

Essential Job Functions Assemble main distribution frames according to technical specifications and engineering drawings Install and terminate copper and fiber optic cables on distribution blocks Mount and secure distribution blocks, cable management systems, and protective devices Perform continuity testing and basic troubleshooting of assembled frames Label cables and equipment according to company standards Maintain accurate assembly documentation and quality control records Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment Coordinate with project managers and engineering teams on assembly requirements Other duties as assigned Physical Requirements Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus Work performed in warehouse/manufacturing environment Education & Experience Associate degree in electronics, telecommunications, or related field Industry certifications (BICSI, CompTIA Network+, or similar) Experience with specific MDF manufacturers (e.g., Siemon, CommScope, Panduit) Knowledge of network infrastructure and data center environments Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment Certification & Licenses Professional certification may be required in some areas
