Job Description
Assembly positions may encompass pre-assembly, building windows or doors, working the glue pit, building crates or various other duties essential to the manufacture of quality buildings and modular components. To be considered candidates must show initiative, be safety conscientious, value attendance and punctuality and possess the following minimum skills:
- Demonstrated ability to read a tape measure required.
- Must be able to use various hand tools and power tools including but not limited to drills, chop saw, band saw, reversibles, table saw, radial arm saw. We reserve the right to test your skills at any time during employment.
- Must be able to safely lift up to 20 lbs. on a consistent basis and be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs. on an occasional basis.
- Must be able to work at heights up to 10'.
- Must be able to climb a ladder repetitively.
- Must be able to use household cleaners.
- Must be able to read and write using basic English skills and be able to perform basic math calculations.
- Basic carpentry skills and ability to read detailed drawings preferred but not required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment background screenings including a drug test.
