In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling stainless steel tanks with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will help us produce high-quality tanks that meet strict industry standards and customer specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced fabrication techniques in a fast-paced environment, contributing to innovative manufacturing projects that drive our success forward. Duties Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of components and tank acessories. Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions. Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments, using processes such as gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux-cored arc, plasma arc, shielded metal arc, resistance welding, and submerged arc welding. Monitor the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material. Examine workpieces for defects and measure workpieces with straight edges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications. Use hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication equipment to shape, fit and fabricate our tanks. Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers. Select and install torches, torch tips, filler rods, and flux, according to welding chart specifications or types and thicknesses of metals. Measure materials precisely using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools; apply basic math skills for accurate cuts and fits. Operate equipment and forklifts safely for material handling and assembly tasks on the production floor. Fabricate custom tanks by cutting, bending, and assembling tanks based on schematics or technical instructions. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times during welding, machining, or fabrication activities. Experience Experience working with metal structures or fabrication projects. Hands-on experience with welding processes; familiarity with welding preferred. Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings essential for precise fabrication. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brakes, and machining equipment in a manufacturing setting. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements and material estimations. Mechanical knowledge of pipe threading, assembly techniques, rigging procedures, and ductwork fabrication highly desirable. Familiarity with ASME codes & standards related to welding and fabrication practices is a plus. Join us if you're passionate about crafting high-quality metal products through expert welding and fabrication! We value safety-minded professionals who thrive in collaborative environments while delivering exceptional craftsmanship that meets industry standards. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your skills in a vibrant manufacturing setting dedicated to innovation and excellence.
