Not Required Summary of Position The Assembler is responsible for assembling structural wall components according to detailed blueprints, work orders, and shop drawings. This position involves measuring, cutting, positioning, and securing materials such as lumber, sheathing, and insulation to build wall panels in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The Assembler must ensure all products meet quality standards and adhere to safety protocols. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Read work orders and assembly drawings. Position steel studs per drawings. Screw pre-punched holes to secure parts in place. Lead a junior assembler in the assembly of panels. Install drywall/exterior wall sheathing. Install insulation. Education and/or Work Experience Requirements High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred) 1 Year of construction experience (preferred) Preferred Skills and Abilities The ability to read and follow set instructions. Attention to detail. Excellent Hand-Eye coordination. Basic computer skills. Understanding of and ability to use a wide variety of tools. Understanding of and ability to read a tape measure. The ability to maintain a tidy and clean workspace. A positive attitude and good work ethic. The ability to be punctual and reliable. Good communication skills.
