Job Description

Join a leading aerospace manufacturing environment in Kinston NC as an Assembly Technician supporting the build, installation, and integration of aircraft components, structures, and subassemblies. This role involves working in a production setting performing mechanical assembly tasks using blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in aircraft assembly, structural installation, drilling, fastening, sealing, and precision measurement, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble aircraft components, structures, and subassemblies Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, and measuring instruments Perform drilling, countersinking, fastening, sealing, and installation tasks Conduct in-process and final quality checks Perform rework, modification, and repair as needed Support prototype and production builds Move materials and support production flow Document work performed and any discrepancies Follow all safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in aircraft or aerospace assembly Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Hands-on experience with drilling, sealing, fastener installation, and structural assembly Experience using precision measuring tools Familiarity with rework, modification, and assembly repair work Strong attention to detail and quality standards Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Team-oriented with good communication skills Training may align with a 2nd shift schedule Must be willing to work any shift during training and after completion Must be a U.S. Person as defined under U.S. export control regulations.
