Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and manufacturing processes, with hands-on experience in various welding techniques and the ability to read schematics. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with hand and power tools. The Fabricator will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality production standards while adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications and requirements. Utilize various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and Stick welding to fabricate components. Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for fabrication tasks. Perform assembly of parts and components as per specifications. Conduct measurements using calipers, micrometers, and basic math skills to ensure precision in fabrication. Execute rigging tasks safely when moving heavy materials or equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety standards and ASME codes & standards. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently within deadlines. Requirements Proven experience in construction or manufacturing environments is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Familiarity with ductwork fabrication and pipe threading is a plus. Experience operating forklifts, and other heavy machinery is advantageous. Ability to work effectively with hand tools and power tools for various fabrication tasks. Knowledge of soldering techniques and machining processes is beneficial. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and collaboration.
