Work Schedule:
Regular Schedule:
2PM•10PM (Monday•Friday)
Overtime Weekday Hours:
2PM•12AM (midnight)
Overtime Weekend Hours:
12PM•8PM (mandatory, based on business needs)
Shift Differential:
.75 per hour
Position Summary:
The Fabricator is responsible for the fabrication, assembly, handling, and preparation of sheet metal products across all shop operations. This position may rotate through or support multiple work areas, including build, fabrication, laser table, plasma table, spiral machine, coil line, water jet, welding, and loading. The Fabricator ensures products are manufactured accurately, safely, and efficiently in accordance with specifications, quality standards, and production schedules.
Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
Read, interpret, and follow product specifications, drawings, and work instructions Prepare, stage, and organize materials for fabrication, production flow, and shipment Fabricate sheet metal components using a variety of machinery, equipment, and hand tools Shape, bend, cut, assemble, and finish materials to precise measurements Operate and support shop equipment, which may include: Laser table Plasma table Water jet Spiral machine Coil line Welding equipment General fabrication and build stations Use hand and power tools such as hammers, angle benders, hand seamers, air hammers, and snips Verify order accuracy and ensure finished goods meet quality expectations Safely load, secure, and assist with staging finished products for delivery Follow directions, ask clarifying questions, and work collaboratively as part of a production team Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and drivers regarding workflow and priorities Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and safety standards

Qualifications:
Basic math skills Ability to read and accurately interpret a tape measure to 1/8-inch increments Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Ability to stay organized and work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to take on a variety of tasks Ability to follow instructions and adapt to different shop areas and equipment Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required to meet production needs
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods Ability to safely operate equipment and tools in a production environment Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) and perform physical labor for extended periods. Work in varying environments including hot, cold, or noisy conditions. Use of PPE and adherence to all safety standards required.
