2nd shift Monday-Thursday 3:15pm - 1:45am, 3rd shift Fri-Sun 6am-6:30pm
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Metal Fabricator to join our team. The Metal Fabricator will fabricate, assemble, modify, and repair metal components and structures by interpreting blueprints, operating fabrication equipment, and performing quality inspections. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders. Measure, mark, and cut metal materials using saws, plasma cutters, shears, and other fabrication equipment. Operate fabrication machinery, including press brakes, rollers, drills, punches, grinders, and CNC equipment. Weld, fit, and assemble metal components using MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-Core welding techniques as required. Grind, polish, and finish fabricated products to meet quality standards. Perform quality inspections using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and squares. Ensure fabricated parts meet dimensional tolerances and customer specifications.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Experience operating fabrication equipment and hand tools. Welding certification is a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Strong mathematical and measurement skills.
