Assembly/Bundling Technician

The Assembly/Bundling Technician works to assemble and group different components for building machines in an efficient and effective manner and bundles those components for shipping. Education/Experience Assembly or manufacturing experience a plus Core Competencies Manual dexterity Mechanical aptitude Ability to run a variety of tools Ability to understand the assembly process Ability to focus on details Ability to work as a member of a team Trustworthy and dependable Work with an acceptable attitude toward co-workers and supervisors Accountabilities Assemble, fit and install fabricated and prefabricated parts to form a finished product using hand and power tools Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly and connect cables, tubes and wires Fasten parts together using bolting and riveting equipment or other fastening and joining techniques Prepare parts for shipment Safe operation of manufacturing equipment including lift trucks, hoists and cranes Understand the component of assembling the machine and/or equipment Work productively as directed Overtime may be required during certain times of the year Ensure a clean working area Follow established policies and procedures for acceptable attendance, safety and quality standards Work Conditions Extended periods of standing, and other physically demanding conditions Working in manufacturing plant environment.
